Every Young Person Deserves to Feel Seen, Valued, and Capable of Leading
Nation ImaginED™ was founded by a group of educators in Los Angeles who witnessed firsthand the challenges immigrant and newcomer youth face within our educational systems. Working in schools and communities across Southern California, they saw talented, resilient young people navigating language barriers, cultural transitions, family responsibilities, and questions of identity, often without access to the social-emotional support and leadership development opportunities they deserved.
As conversations around immigration intensified and immigrant families faced growing uncertainty, the founders recognized a deeper need. Beyond academic success, young people needed spaces where they could feel seen, valued, supported, and empowered. They envisioned a future where immigrant youth were not defined by obstacles, but recognized for their strengths, leadership potential, and contributions to their communities.
That vision became Nation ImaginED™.
Today, Nation ImaginED™ develops culturally responsive programs that help Spanish-speaking immigrant and first-generation youth build confidence, strengthen communication skills, foster belonging, and discover their capacity to lead. We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to embrace their story, recognize their value, and help shape the future of their communities and the world around them.
What sets us apart isn’t just our process - it’s the intention behind it.
We take time to understand, explore, and create with purpose at every turn.
